Report From Team Building Trip
/Dear Friends of Guyana,
Thank you for remembering us on our recent trip. It was a WONDERFUL trip as we spent quality time with our staff and their families. We were able to go see Kaieteur Falls which is the longest single-drop waterfall in the world, three times higher than Niagara Falls. What a blessing to be able to see God's handiwork and except for Jai, non of our staff had seen it. We had a great time and were able to share the plan of salvation with our three tour guides who were from all over Guyana
We were able to meet our new staff person, Leon, whose first day with us is today, October 1. He and his family joined us for Steve's birthday dinner where all our staff brought their children so we could all enjoy a time together. Leon and Ashley have a four year old son, Michael and Vanessa have a five month old daughter. Markey and Deanna have an eleven year old daughter, nine year old son and a six year old son. (years may not be exactly accurate but close) haha.
Another day we had a wonderful time of planning, suggestions to fine tune our ministry and prayer. After that, a card game broke out so after pray and cards, we feel like we are starting to get to know Leon. haha.
Steve had a few very positive meetings with governmental staffers concerning businesses he is working on so more Guyanese can have jobs God was so good to provide him with those opportunities.
Our travel was smooth and everyone stayed healthy. Tracy and Jai were perfect hostess and host and we had a fantastic trip. We are so blessed and can't wait to continue serving together.
Blessings, Beth
